So far have 30,000 miles on my Hankook Dynapro ATM's on my 2019 Expy 4WD. Still has decent tread on them. I rotate every 5 - 7k miles.

Have 27,000 miles on my 22" Hancooks and I have no confidence in driving in the rain with them and think I'm going to bite the bullet and get new tires.

How many miles did you get on your Hankooks before you replaced?

I get well over 50k on my 20" Hankooks, and find they are excellent in rain, snow and ice.

I was never impressed with the Hancooks that came on our Expedition Max. Seems like like the tread pattern was more for mud, not rain or snow. I live in MN and they were terrible in snow. I always had to use AWD when snow was on the ground. Turning on snow covered intersections was an adventure, the front tires would slide. I switched to Michelin Defenders and that made a dramatic difference. I barely even need to AWD now and the braking and turning has also improved a lot.

28,000 and tires slip with a little rain if the pedal is pushed a little to hard.

Buying new tires for the 22" rims that aren't as low of a profile. With the pot holes in the northeast, all it takes is one good hit and those rims are bent.

I will be buying Michelin tires fir the next set of tires.

I have the Hankooks on my 2018 Limited. Original with purchase. Today, hit 71,000. Still going strong. A little of highway miles. Probably 7500 more miles left on them.

I have a 19 Explorer Limited and ditched the garbage Hankook Ventas 2 under 25k miles. No confidence. Replaced with Michelin Latitude Tour HP. Huge improvement! I wish you got choices of tire like radio choice or leather color or HD towing pkg when ordering a new car. Even if there were only 2 choices and an up charge for the better tire. Better than spending >$1K so soon on a newish car.
Hey Ford, are you listening???

7K miles. Bought Michelin LTX. Have 2020 Ltd Stealth. I can't see anyone risking their life or family with the Hankook. Also I would have thought Ford would have listened and not installed on new Expeditions. But I guess that would make too much sense.

My 22” Hankook’s were also dangerous in the rain, rear end slipping out. Had one tire with slow air leak, had puncture near sidewall, later second tire with bubble. After replacing tire with slow leak, bought new Pirelli Scorpion Verde A/S Ii.
The Pirelli’s have about 27k miles now, I’m very happy with them. Guessing they will safely give 40k miles, they have worn evenly on my 4 X 4, quiet, improved steering response, equal fuel economy, good wet traction.
Pirelli has since released generation III of this tire.
