Expedition XLT Max Delivery Timeline

My Expedition left the KY plant April 01,2024 headed to the Orlando distribution center. My dealer is less than 2 hours south of the distribution center. When can I expect the car to reach the dealer? My sales person is saying 2 weeks. I need this car by the 10th for a non refundable trip. Do I have any hope?

I would make a car-rental reservation as backup.

Amazon can tell you what day they will deliver a $5.00 item, then notifiy you when delivered and with a picture.

Ford has no concern for their customers and their expectations on delivery of a $70,000 + purchase.

Even their authorized dealers that sell the product cannot provide the customer accurate delivery information.

I wouldn't say there is NO hope, but your timeline does seem awfully tight. My SSV was built on January 8th 2024 and made it to Marshall Ford in Carrolton, KY (barely an hour's drive!) on January 30th or so. I am assuming it didn't have to go through a distribution center, but I am not sure.

I have to have a towing vehicle for my trip. Specifically something that can pull an aluminum 3 horse trailer. I guess I better start searching the rental companies

My Max Limtd is scheduled for 4-22 build and I hope to get it in N. Ill. by May 06

I have an update!!!! My Expedition arrived at the dealership early afternoon today, 4/10/2024. The dealer needed today to do whatever the heck they do. My husband will pick it up tomorrow. We ended up purchasing a 2020 Dodge Ram Bighorn earlier this week, we needed a pickup truck as our 2006 F350 finally coughed its last breath

Good luck to all of you waiting on your new Expedition. i have a few FYI notes:
1. The customer website during the build stage only updates on Tuesdays. You may get a text message early Monday AM (4am) if you signed up for that

2. I never got a text or email that the car was at the dealership, but after the sales person called, I checked the customer site and that had been updated.
