Does the engine bay layout of the 2025 Expedition match that of the 2024/2025 Ford Raptor? I'm looking to purchase an AFE cold air intake (the AFE website lists it as compatible with 2021–2025 Ford F-150 Raptors). Has anyone tried installing a Raptor-specific cold air intake on a 2025 Expedition? If so, how was the fitment? https://afepower.com/afe-power-57-1...-cold-air-intake-system-w-black-pro-5r-filter

Isn’t stock good for up to stage 2 mods?
That isn't quite true. With Ford shrinking the base turbo size, removing ANY restriction is good. Not because of power but because of burning up turbos...the 24/25 150's were at first...we can go down that road if we want.

Eitherway, removing ANY intake restriction is good. Even Tune only on say E50 you can see an improvement with a good intake...less duty cycle. Basically not more total power, just the same total easier? Probably not explaining it well...Been a long day.

The power gains from manufacturers...BS Yes, but does an intake help on these, yes, even at stock tuning.

Whipple CAI on mine now. I’m really enjoying this thing. It’s refreshingly quick for a full-size suv…which to me (and my family) is the perfect size for DD tasks. And……there is some turbo noise when you let off throttle.

I went from an S&B setup to the Corsa and love it. In my super dry dusty climate, I love that the filter is enclosed. It does cut down on the intake sound which is good or bad, dependent on the individual, but It's quality is better. However, I still can't stand that the filter element doesn't come out of the housing without essentially deforming it a bit. I specifically called them before I bought it and asked if it can be easily removed. So far three different systems I've used have to be somewhat disassembled to get the filter out.

I am waiting to see some photos of intake mods here.

I bet the Raptor unit would be a close fit.
