Need so help I am needed to purchase a rear differential for my 05 expedition I know it’s a 9.75 how do I know the gear ratio I need the info so I order the correct one. Thank you.

You will need the VIN & axle designation from the tag in the drivers door frame below the lock. You should have quite a few choices in your area. Try for same year & low mileage. Replace the oil before you install & add fiction additive if is a limited slip. Probably a 3.73 for your year.
