2001 EXPY OEM RIM Nomenclature

Ok, This week I bought 4 refurbished OEM rims from E Bay. The order was for 4 YL14-1007-AA as that is what is fitted to my vehicle. What I received included two marked XL14-1007-CA

1) What is the difference between YL14-1007-AA and XL14-1007-CA ?

2) Are there any aftermarket "hub caps" for these rims? Although I have the OEM they have been epoxy glued to the retainer so many times and frankly boring. I would like a polished disk.

YL14-1007-AA is the Manufacturers Part Number.
XL141007CA along with YL141007AA7720 and YL14AA7720 is the Superseded Part Numbers to YL14-1007-AA.
Basically, a part that has been superseded means there is another part number that is newer, but it doesn't always mean that a superseded part is better or different.

Here are some OEM caps I found on Flea-bay. You will also find some aftermarket in the OEM style. They all mount to the lug nuts. Keep in mind that lug sizes changed from 12mm lugs to 14mm lugs after 11/29/99 and thus I believe the caps should correspond to the lug size for most. This isn't always true, if your rotors were replaced with the wrong year, along with the corresponding lug nuts, you may have a mismatch, as I do on one of my Expys.

Yeah, mine are this style in 14mm . I have to be sure to remove them before having mechanical work done at any garage because invariably they get broken by mechanics and then fly off in my rear view mirror on I4 days later. I bought replacements used and epoxied all the broken posts that hold the steel spring retainer on. I would like to find a flat disk to replace them, otherwise keep salvaging the OEM.
