2022 Multicontour massage seat delete on Platinum

Gentlemen - see above link - for me it is a deal breaker. The multicontour and blue cruise is the only reason having ordered a Platinum.

My order is still scheduled by May 02nd.

Anybody who ordered a Platinum received any official communication from Ford?

I have a 2022 Platinum on order, and unfortunately, if you want your order to be scheduled, you should opt out of the multicountour seats. I have a 2018 Expedition Platinum and a 2017 Explorer Platinum, both with the multicountour seats. I opted out of the MC seats, with a lot of regret sbecause both my wife and I, with a few back problems enjoy the massaging feature. This is just the supply problem situation. If you want your vehicle within the next 6 months, I suggest you opt out.

My Platinum just pulled a VIN and entered production status. Still shows:

Multi-contour Seats - Drv/pass

Drv/pass Multi-contour Seats

…for me. Knock on wood.

All the plattys online I guess were bought. If you see any, I would suggest calling then and seeing if they have the massage seats one, then see if it's still available.

If the platinum doesn’t have the active motion seats I’ll buy a nice Limited with the mocha interior, which I wanted anyway.

Only reason I went Platinum is because we do a LOT of long trips and the massaging seats and blue cruise sounded great, less fatiguing.

So, does that mean they won’t be producing any Navigator Reserve + this year? I don’t think so, 2/3rds of the Navs sold have massaging seats. If thats the case I’m going Toyota for sure. This would have been my 8th Ford product but if they start reducing their product line to the bare minimum forget it.

A 250 credit gets you no seats forever or no seats until they can install them in a few months? Bc if it’s none forever that’s a poor deal.

This is true only if you want to order. You can look for one at a dealer and most likely they will have the massage function, if they ordered before March 1st. Even if you wanted to order now, how long it's takin to schedule, it be best to wait. I would, and get the a/c rear seat as well.
