I have a 2025 Active Max 4WD 202A.
I like the smooth ride on the highway and even roadways. I find when hitting some bumps or uneven terrain, it either rocks and floats like a boat or really wobbles side to side. I don’t plan on taking this thing off road other than on country roads when camping. I don’t want to lose the comfortable ride but would like to make it a little stable. Can I add a better sway bar or different struts/shocks without making the ride too stiff?

In theory you can, but changes to a stock vehicle as designed I would be against - I would suggest first check your tires’ inflation against the listed pressure in the door jamb first. Match exactly and give it a week or two. If still unhappy add another 5lbs pressure and see how that feels.

Amazing how important tire inflation can be to handling & ride comfort, especially on a tuned suspension engineered by our Ford folks!

RE sway bars: For rock-crawling, they are removed or "softened" by off-road folks on their custom rigs. The idea in that situation is to allow maximum suspension flexibility to keep every tire on some surface. Stiff sway bars improve handling when driving aggressively on paved roads, esp. cornering.

I'm not sure if yours came with CCD suspension, as it is an extra and also available with the driver's package.
With that said, if you have CCD suspension you can switch to another mode which will stiffen up your suspension, along with steering, performance, etc. I had it on my GEN4 Expedition Platinum, so I made sure I would also have it on my GEN5 Expedition, as it makes that much difference. I was surprised to find Ford stripped it from their Expeditions and offered it as an extra. It seems to be that way with a lot of features.

Best bet is stiffer front and rear sway bars. Some of the 4th gen owners did this to their vehicles and almost all loved the results when done correctly.

Stiffer sway bars will work great in cornering, turning, driving aggressively on curvy roads.
They will do nothing if your on a regular smooth highway and will give a harsher choppy ride over bumps and uneven roadways. It is the shocks and springs that contribute to the ride quality of the vehicle. Sway bars just transfer weight from one side to the other when in turns and cornering. If your "floating" over road dips ect then that is due to the shocks/springs....nothing to do with sway bars.
Adding stiffer bars will more than likely give you a harsher stiffer ride.
