The front crash avoidance radar has proven to be ineffective at higher speeds. It can’t apply the brakes any harder than you can and your still rear ending the guy in front.... lots of 18s in the 4th gen section that have rear ended people anyway

It’s not meant to replace you, just help. There are also MANY instances of it a avoiding accidents also. It is not autonomous. Depending on it to stop all accidents is just foolish. You still have to pay attention to the road.

Also, it can’t actually press the brake any harder, but it can press it faster.
