98 Ford Expy motor removal

Any one have instructions on engine removal? I have an ailing expy with a leaking head gasket and 230k+ on the motor. I am looking at a reman motor to old to hunt for a used one). I have a mechanical back ground but left the service in 97.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm in the same boat you are. Leaking head gasket, 215k and a puddle in my garage.

if you have a lift available the easiest way is to remove body.
