Hi all, new member here. I recently purchased a 2020 Expedition MAX which did not come with the factory trailer brake controller. I ordered the Ford part and will install myself. I know that I can either have the dealer flash the ECU or do it myself with an ELM327 and Forscan.
My question is can someone who has Forscan do it for me or is each device/license good for only one vehicle? I have no intent on changing anything else aside from activating the TBC, so I would search for someone near Charlotte, NC if it's possible to activate on multiple vehicles.
