Aftermarket COP question...

Hey guys,
I'm looking at getting some new coils, and was wondering if anyone has heard of the Performance Distributors "SOS" (Sultans Of Spark)*brand. I'm normally skeptical about aftermarket products when it comes to reliability, and ignition isn't something I feel like going out on a limb on. I figure I'd ask around first before making a purchase. These guys don't seem like a Chinese knock-off brand. Here's their site... Thoughts?

I bought a set of these to fix faulty oem coil packs on friends' vehicles. I've used up 5 of them over the last couple years. No problems with any yet.

$57 For a set of 8? And free shipping? That seems a little sketchy lol. I might give those a shot, but keep spares handy just in case.

I always stick with stock COPs.

I got a set of 8 on Amazon for about $55 shipped. Replaced a bad OEM coil with one of these new ones a few weeks ago. Running just fine.

BTW, the Amazon coils received overwhelmingly solid reviews.

I suppose I'll give 'em a shot. I figure I should get at LEAST a couple years worth outta them for 50 bucks. And the reviews seem to be pretty good... If they fail though, I'll bring this post back from the dead to complain about them lol.

While i doubt they're as good as oem, you get an entire set for less than the price of one from ford. Like someone else said, read the reviews.
