Recently my Air bag light came on my 2000 Expedition 4 x 4 5.4 EXT Sport. I took it to the dealer who said that the passenger side air bag was "loose" causing the light to come on. They said there was no way to tighten the bag assembly up, so it needs to be replaced. ($250). I asked if the air bag would work if I were to get into an accident, and they said it would not deploy. I find this hard to believe, as I am the original owner, and the vehicle has never been in an accident. Has anyone else had this problem and do I believe the dealership on what they said?
