I'm confused. Can't you just disable the engine-off feature in the 4" dashboard screen?

Clearly this product must be doing something else...enlighten me please.

All this product does is remember the last state of the auto on/off button/system. If you turn it off, it stays off. If you turn it on, it stays on. All it does is keep the system from resetting the auto stop system to on at every restart and requiring you to push the button to flip it off - every time.

If you are ok with pushing the button at every start to turn the system off, save the $90. If you have tired of performing that task, as I did, install it. If you can afford gas for the truck, you can afford the eliminator. Whether it is a good value proposition for you, well that is up to each owner. For me it became a good value within the first month of ownership.

Watched this video a few months ago showing a simple jumper wire on the dash switch defeats the stop/start feature. Seemed simple enough, but it sounds like this may not be the best approach?

I get in and push the button. It's automatic now. Really not a big deal.

That's what my friend does in his Jeep Grand Cherokee - its become a learned pre-flight sequence.

Done! I like this option so it can be turned on and off. I can only see using auto stop MAYBE in winter.
