I'm back to Ford after having a '68 Mustang Fastback in the mid-late 80's.
Well I've been searching for a big SUV that can handle the family as well as any extracurricular towing and fun that may come along. I was considering Expeditions, Sequoias, and Durangos.
By chance, a couple of weeks ago I came across a 1-owner, Florida '98 Expedition EB 4x4 with 29K original miles on it. I was initially thinking of a newer one but it looked brand new and for around $9k I couldn't pass it up so I bought it and now I'm back.
Great forum...I already found out it has the air suspension (occasional compressor noise was something new to me but it seems to work correctly), E4OD Tranny and 3.73 LS rear end. It eats gas but I already knew that coming in. I'm looking forward to posting more as I become aquainted with the truck.
