2003 Ford Expedition XLT, Arizona Beige. 4.6L V8. Friend dyno'ed it us the other day. Still putting out a respectable 226HP @ 5000RPM with 55,000 miles on it (232 stock) Cleaned up, I would almost go so far as to say she looks like new!

Nice expedition... spend about $30 on Krylon Fusion paint and take 4 hours of your time to paint the lower cladding and it will look like new.

It's hard to imagine that my 03 once looked that good. It has been dragged to the jobsites for years and hauled anything you can imagine. I need to spend a weekend detailing her.

Thanks for the inspiration to make her nice again!

Smo0oth thanks for the tip about krylon fusion paint. my lower cladding has faded horribly. I have the same color scheme as this one. how close can the paint match?

Nice, I remember when mine was stock. For about 30 50 bucks, you can go down to your local auto paint store and have them mix you up a single stage paint match to your truck, as well as get some bulldog plastics adhesive promotor. it comes in a spray can. I would use some of that even if you krylon, because it helps the paint stick to the plastic better and not peel off. I would say i painted my plastics about threee years ago, and only have a few little spots by the back doors where the kids jump on the car getting in.
