You just need to ream out the tapered holes for the tie rod ends and that's about it. Those things flex when hit and then return, without staying bent up like a steel rod does.

I had to use a set of high misalignment spacers on the drag link when I did my Scout steering, but otherwise it was no problem installing or driving.
