Hello,
I guess that I am feeling impulsive this morning. I usually let these things go.
Welcome Larry! Congrats on the new, to you, Expedition! I recently got mine and am still sorting it out. Sorry that I can't help answer your question, I've got the 5.4 and I don't plan to use it enough to wear it out.
Everyone uses their vehicles differently. If you plan on putting 500,000 miles on your vehicles and a bypass filter helps you get there (or just sleep better), go for it. My first forum experiences were at the
TDIClub. Lots of people put bypass filters on their little diesels. Did they
need to, of course not! But, they loved them and loved to experiment with them (N
2O on a Diesel Beetle!?!).
All,
I would find this forum more pleasant and more useful if there were more comments like LokiWolf's, (paraphrasing here) "...can't help with the bypass filter, but the catch can is a great idea and
JLT is a good brand...". He shared his opinions and then added to the conversation. (I'll add this link so that I am adding something tangible to the conversation as well -
