Chain guide Problem

I need your help I've got a 1999 Ford Expedition 5.4, for some reason the right side chain guide keeps breaking off, I installed a New Timing Set after my oil pump gave out , ever since then the guide keeps breaking off.....What could be causing the problem?

Post a pic of where and what portion is breaking off when you can.

I would suspect cheap parts or a problem with the head or valve train in the head as the cause. Make sure the heads oil squirter isn't clogged with debris.
