I am in the radio biz. There are never ending questions from folks (usually ham radio dweebs) wanting to put antennas on their roofs with a magnet mount or other horrid contraption. The professional way is to drill a hole for an brass NMO mount (Motorola) as it seals nicely, works on aluminum and steel, works well, and if or when you are done with it there is a rubber plug or simply a cap for the NMO mount. Instead they slap a mag mount on the roof and it scratches everything, moves around, pops off and bangs the glass and sides. In this case, because of aluminum roof, they have glued some steel plate and have created god knows what kind of damage and corrosion. Try a moderate amount of heat from a hair dryer and slowly lift saying a prayer to Sherwin Williams.
