Computer Issue

Have 2021 Expedition that displays incorrect service messages. After starting, a series of messages will display individually stating that what seems to be all electronic systems (Advance trac, power steering assist, pre collision, etc., etc) need to be serviced. Advance Trac light will come on indicating system is engaged when it is not. After hitting OK several times, warning disappear, but then may reappear some time later. Vehicle is 3 months old with 1500 miles on it. Any suggestions?

Maybe something is actually wrong with them. Take it to the dealer

Mine did that when my battery failed.

Low battery, not properly connected(wasn't tightened), or BCM was disabled in FORSCAN to disable Auto/Start/Stop on the newer ECM's are all possible causes.

The last being also possible....Something is actually failing?

Update: Took vehicle to dealer. After two days of “chasing wires” technician stated that vehicle needed new “steering rack.” Part on order, but won’t be in till next week. Not sure how “steering rack” would affect computer alerts, but I guess we will see.

One of the items in your list of warnings is "power steering assist", being that your power steering is electric and not hydraulic, therefore, it makes sense that the tech faulted the electric steering rack.
