Driver assist, does it default off or on for features?

I'm looking at a 2018 or 2019 Expedition Max and I am wondering how all of the drivers assist features react after you set them to on or off and then restart the car. I'm also wondering how much of a headache they are to turn on and off in the menus?

My main concern is if all the driver assist features default to on after you turn them off and then later restart the engine......?

Adaptive cruise control
Lane keep
auto braking
Auto Hi beam lights
pre collision assist
forward collision warning

All of them have off settings. The only features that default to factory settings are the drive modes and the auto start stop

Can the dealer shut the auto start stop off permanently?

Adaptive Cruise Control: Like most cruise control systems, every time you want to use it, you have to turn it on and then set the desired speed. The only difference here is you also get to choose a following distance (closest, closer, farther, farthest). The system remembers (through shut down) your following distance setting and you only need to deal with it if you ever want to change it.

Lane Keep: I turned mine on once and it's always on.
Auto braking: Is this the braking that's driven by the adaptive cruise control? It's only turned on when the cruise control is turned on and a speed is set.
Auto hi-beam lights: It's always on unless I start manually turning the hi-beam lights on and off. It resets to on when I power cycle the engine.
pre-collision assist: I think this is the one where the car brakes itself prior to a collision. I have this one enabled and I don't have to change anything through engine re-starts.
Forward Collision Warning: always enabled. Much less sensitive than the forward collision warning in my Honda. I've only seen this one once in the Ford and I really was going to hit something had I not been slamming on the brakes at the same time as it went off.

Lets say you turn all that stuff off. Then tomorrow after the cars been restarted, is al that stuff back to "on", or does it stay off as your last setting?

The reason I see asking this is my wifes Ford Flex turns all this stuff "ON" every single time the car is shut off and restarted, so its annoying.
