Just thought I would share a few pictures of my new head unit. Picture 1 shows me testing out the unit before final installation watching a little Star Wars, haha. It was a fairly easy install thanks to the write ups I have found on here. I still have a lot of reading to do to learn about all the features this thing has.

Looks great. I'm looking to put a double din in my wife's Expedition. Does that have navigation? If so, how is it?

Thanks guys! You have to purchase the add on device AVIC-U220 to use the navigation feature on this unit.

Wow, that looks great.
I've been thinking about upgrading... jealous of my wife's Sync system in her 2011 Edge.

Does anyone know if you can make this (or anything else) work with the factory Rear Entertainment system in a 2007? I don't want to lose that since it's great for the kids.

It looks nice and neat, not all busy and bulky. I'm feeling that soft, blue glow that it gives off as well.....enjoy.

Same unit I installed in my 07 Expy last month. Really happy with it so far. I think I've figured out all of the quirks and tricks, so let me know if you have any questions about it's operation.

Thanks again everyone.

To Odimus, When you say dual zone I assume you mean separate functions for front and rear passengers at the same time. In the book it reads "this product's rear video output and rear audio output are for connection of a display to enable passengers in the rear seats to watch the dvd, etc." I would think that the front passengers would be able to listen to the radio while the rear passengers could watch and listen the a dvd at the same time but I do not know for certain. It may be something that 911jason could answer.

To 911jason, So far I have been able to figure out what I need as far as basic settings. If I get stuck trying to figure anything out I will definitely seek your help.

I have no idea about dual-zone capability. It wasn't a feature I would have used, so I never looked into it.

I believe we have the previous model (AVH-P3300BT) in our Expy and it does have the dual zone capability. Passengers in the back can wear wireless headphones and watch a DVD, and passengers in the front can listen to the radio/IPod, XM, etc.
