Nice... which turbo did you go with? Any other upgrades? Who did the tune? How is the boost threshold?
JasonH, I’ve actually been looking at the Garrett kit the Full Race offers. Thinking I’m gonna go with that set up.

That's a solid tq#! I bet It always feels like your in the power with that much tq?
There’s been an occasion, or two, where I’ve given it smooth, steady pedal, and broke traction coming off the line. The “FIRST” time I came off the line hard after the mod I started going sideways (with traction control on) until I eased out the pedal. So yeah, it’s always in the power. This is how the power comes on with a quick, smooth, and steady press of the foot. Haven’t tried it with traction control off.

This was with the stock motor+ 1.9L Magnacharger with 3" top pulley. Oem Hb... 33x12.5r20 r/t tires...
After the blower was installed it broke lose pretty easily in 2wd. 4x4 launches were really fun!

Man... your tq# is so retarded though...lol that is a awesome gain from stock. I had a coworker that tuned his ecoboost to the tune of 700whp. It was ungodly fast...

!!!Update!!!

So, I got the Full Race CAI installed. Had to make a modification as the IAT sensor that mounts in the airbox is not the same as the one in the F-150. Got that done. Then, as I was getting it all put together I realized I would not be able to properly sit the CAI top cover over the airbox sat too high; hood wouldn’t clear, and lid latches wouldn’t latch!!! WTF!!!

Even worse… the performance had changed… very noticeably!!! My off the line power had dropped… dramatically!!! Somewhere I mentioned in a post on the forum the first time I punched it after the Full Race CAC kit install, and re-tune, the truck started to go sideways with traction control on. Not with the Full Race CAI. It did not like it at all!!!

With that said… it’s off!!! Put the stock parts back on. Performance is back. Wondering about my purchase now… could’ve saved that money.

So, it’s official… the CAI was restricting me… I’ve gotta wonder if the tuner actually tuned it with CAI specs like he mentioned (I didn’t have it installed when I went to my tuning appointment).

When I punched it yesterday it felt like it’s old pre-CAI self. Left the line “strong”!!! I’m happy again. Until I see my $500 of CAI making my truck faster by sitting on top of the hood of my Jeep (old ‘90 Wrangler; no worries of scratching it).

Might just post it on the F-150 Forum like JasonH mentioned!!!
