I have those ones, watch the reflection of your lights in the car in front once autostart restarts your car at traffic lights etc. Assuming you have your lows as your DRL

All LED bulbs in stock housing. Lows, Highs, DRL's, fogs, brakes, reverse, license plate.

My DRL's and brakes cause hyperflash on the internal indicator, but not on the external turn signal itself. I'm assuming this could be disabled with FORScan.

Looks just like ours Stone Gray FX4 with HD tow & A bunch of other options
We used Hikari Philips Lumileds for high & Low beams
No Flicker with ours & very bright

Finally brought mine into the dealer to complain about the totally useless factory halogen lights. They "adjusted" them as high as possible. Made no significant difference in night driving. Even with the LED bulb replacements, the projector design is poor and the cutoff is too low on dark roads.

Anyone reading this with Halogen lights, please file a complaint on the NHTSA site if you think they should be better. There are only four complaints already, not enough, and eventually this could be addressed. Even if you spend the money to upgrade them on your own, a recall could provide you with potential OEM quality LED bulbs or a full replacement with the LED modules. It just takes 5 minutes to fill out the form.

The ONLY way this gets fixed is with more complaints.

File a complaint here!

Mine flicker too. I’ll have to order the more expensive ones that Mike Wolfe recommends.

Mines is starting to do this thing where the light output goes down. I dont think they go out because i can see the light reflect off cars, but the view infront of me dims dradtically almost as if it were goin out.

Placed an order for the low beams today as above, to be fair to ravmix supplier I raised it as an issue with them and they refunded me the full amount, no quibble.

I will be trying the led simple headlight replacement as well. Thanks foe the great thread.

I saw that there are full taillight led assemblies. I am about to check if that one is plug and play with the XLT. I believe it should be, but haven't looked at the breakout diagram yet.

Anyone have any ideas on the taillight assembly replace if it is simpler than the headlight. I gotta believe it's just a pull and pop.

I think that everytime i see one with the leds even with led bulbs, and how the front end looks so much better with the c-led strip. Kills me everytime.

Yeah, I have it in my mind to try to install the opt7 fluxbeam or xtralights DRL strips to mimic it.

A followup.. Just finished putting in the low beams and foglights. Use Hikari for lows and beamtech for the fogs. It's working good. Hikari's flicker once on auto-start restart at a stop sign. But it's no biggie.

I didn't realize that the lows are on in DRL mode, so the headlights look to be full power in DRL daytime driving from what I can tell when switching from DRL to regular beams on. I don't mind it, but it was something I didn't notice before doing the work.

As others have mentioned, the fogs are definitely harder to do on the driver side. I went through the wheel well skirts and that side was just tricky because of the metal obstruction behind that light.

Next will be to swap out the highs since I didn't buy all the parts to start out with.

I have been paying closer attention since reading this, and have noticed my halogen lights do the same thing. It is most noticeable at night. So I wonder if more expensive ones will actually fix it.

Going back to the LED Conversion. I bought the Oem LED Headlights for my 2018 Expy XLT without knowing they weren´t plug-and-play. Now I´m stuck with these cause I can´t sell them back. I decided to go forward with the conversion even if I have to buy any other Harness. Any help on what exact parts to buy?

Also, are the LED Tail Lamps plug and play for the 2018 XLT Expy? Have not bought those, but just wondering in order to buy them.

Just saw your msg. Rear taillights are not quite plug n play. You need forscan or you need a resistor I believe I remember from the f150 forum. Resister route makes the circuit pretty hot though.
