The gauges quit working fuses are fine all light in dash work. no speedometer orgas gauge ect. test light says all is fine in the fuse boxes.fuses are fine. Was told it maybe the wire to the key because there is no movement on the gauges when I turn it on. 1996 expedition nothing else is affected. Help!

Debo check the power distribution block under the hood there are more fuses under there and your owners manual will tell you if there is a cluster fuse there or sometime if you flip the lid over of the box it will tell you there.

Thanks we checked both fuse boxes and the power is there fuses ok. and it is only my dash gauges all lights in dash work.

Check youtube for the videos on changing the heater core on a F150. A portion of the change includes removing the cluster from the dash. You may have to reseat the connector or chase a ground to solve your problem.
Depending on how it is wired, most gauges are fed power by dedicated feeds and have common grounds. If the ground is bad then you loose multiple gauges at the same time. You can lose the ground just about anywhere, from the back of the cluster to where it connects to chassis ground and anywhere in between.

Hopefully Ford hasn't networked the gauges (CAN2.0). If so that is a different animal.
