There are advantages to going "cheap" on a new Expy. I got the Max XLT 4WD. Splurged on the White Platinum paint, which is well worth it IMO. We got the 201A package because hopefully the leather will be easier to clean. Didn't know it came perforated, would have preferred non perforated, thank you. My wife always complained about the front passenger seat not being power, so that problem is also addressed. My boat only weighs 3700#, so didn't get the heavy duty tow package. First tank of gas I'm averaging just at or above 20MPG, in part due to the 3.31 final drive. Stuck with the 18" wheels for a more comfortable ride with the standard suspension. No sunroof saves money too, and as a side benefit that increases the load capacity of the roof rack to 200#, up from 125# with the panoramic roof. All in all, out the door for $58.5K. Comfortable, quiet, efficient. Not a bad way to go.

Lucky! I wanted an XLT max but Ford only sells the max in the Limited or the Platinum trim in Canada.
