Having your tires at a max or close to max makes a huge difference like the others have mentioned, and plan your passing and accelerating because you will need some space to get going, if you are OK with that it shouldn't be too bad, my wife has very limited experience backing up and she got the hang of it so quick it was almost scary lol. I just let her do it now. The length of your TT should make it easy to control when backing up as long as you make nice deliberate turns you should be fine.
Having auxiliary lighting for the rear helps quite a bit, oh! And I don't know if your expy has extendable side mirrors or not I bought aftermarket ones and they made all the difference for me.
