I have a 2003 Ford Expedition and a heater hose has a small hole wich is leaking coolant onto the 3 and 4 coils and plugs witch now i have to replace but i dont have a clue on how to replace the hose. Its only like 4 inches. One side has a clamp but the other is crimped. How do i go about changing that? does it unscrew or do i have to replace the whole 3 hose piece?

The factory parts are more expensive than throwing one together. Since I'm over the hill I usually go with pre made parts since it is easier. Choice is yours but since the line has crimped connections you cannot replace that section without the crimping tools. Plus it looks like the tee connection is plastic - just waiting for an excuse to break.

Take a look at the heater hoses offered in Rock Auto, they have pics and dimensions...
