I've got 53,000 or so on my 2017 XLT EL that I bought used with 29,000 miles on it. The Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HTs have good tread on them still. I really thought the OEM tires must have been replaced before I bought it.

I started looking at replacements just in case these were the originals and saw the Goodyear warranty for these is for 65,000 miles (P & Euro spec) but listed as only 50,000 for LT sizes.

Many reviewers state that they got more than 65,000 out of them with trucks.

If these were your original tires, did you get 65,000 miles out of them? If not how many?

79xxx miles on the stock Goodyears and still looking good. I'll probably replace them this winter though. We have a 2017 XLT XL.

That's what quite a few theat reviewed them said. I'll hold off replacing them for awhile. I do rotate them with each oil change.

I bought the truck with 46k and the Goodyear Wranglers on them were toast (I can only presume they were original.
I made the dealer replace them before I purchased. I just pulled the Wranglers the dealer put on with 15k miles (rotated every 5k) and looked pretty much brand new. I sold them on Facebook for $200 in about 6 hours, guess I should have listed them higher.

2015 Ford Expedition Limited 4x4, purchased new. Came with 20-inch tires and wheels standard, and all-terrain tires. Ford would not permit customers to specify all-season tires for the 4x4 models, when ordering the vehicle.

The original Hankook tires lasted about 43,000 miles - with mostly rural highway driving and very little 4x4 use. No towing or heavy cargo. Tires rotated every 5,000 miles by the dealer.

I purchased Michelin all-season replacement tires. Much, much better than original tires.

stock hankooks from day one i got just under 30k miles before they started chunking up and loosing rubber. Our roads are pretty rough with the high traction coating on the state hwys. its an aggressive rock size with asphalt

i was not happy, but it is what it is

I agree with the OP. I've got 52,000 on my 2016 XLT EL. My Goodyear Wrangler Fortitudes have a decent amount of tread left. I do tow a boat and often haul my family of 5 with a fully loaded car (with 60lbs roof capsule for skis/boards/etc) up the mountains. I also drive my car like a rental so I'm really happy about the tread life. I'm going to get another set very soon.

I'm not a Goodyear fan but how long these are lasting is impressive. I usually go with Michelin but will consider another set of these.

I replaced the stock Pirelli's with the Michelin LTX's at 49K miles. Much improved ride, noise, and wet grip improvement, even compared to when the Pirelli's were new.

Bought my truck with 56,000 miles or so and brand new BFG KO2’s. Truck now has 126,000 on it and these tires will make it through the year before needing replaced. I’m expecting 85,000 miles or so out of them. c89e6dc69b2f2dcacd88fea90720eb82.jpg

I got less than 35K out of the Pirelli Scorpions that were put on by the dealer when I bought my truck (rated for 65K I believe). I've got about 25K on the Michelin LTXs that replaced them and they're nowhere near end of life.

Noticed your signature photo. How did your Expedition do at Silver Lake? Also curious how you attached your flag. I visit friends in Grand Rapids periodically, and would enjoy taking my Expedition to Silver Lake. Last time I was there with my Toyota Tacoma and had lots of fun.

It did good, I aired down to about 10psi and I could go about anywhere without beating on it. It is the gear/kid hauler up there, we have quads as well so it does sit for part of the day. I will say this, when it gets stuck, she is stuck! I just need to give it more skinny pedal!

I have approaching 67K on my original Hankooks....will prob replace before next winter.

jeff

67K is impressive for Hancooks! My 2016 came with Hancook Dynapro HT's and at 43k miles the rears depth are 3/32" and fronts are 4/32", rotated at every 5k oil change. I've found the rears to slip easily from start when I'm making a turn and the fronts got progressively noisy when making slow turns. I generally drive conservatively.

I'm considering replacing them with Michelin Defender LTX M/S

Got 4 new WRANGLER FORTITUDE HT - SIZE: 275/65R18 from TireRack. Went with the blackwalls. They have a good price at $183.99 per tire plus a Goodyear mail in rebate (when you buy 4) for $60! I picked them up from their DE location to save another $64 bucks! So for a set of 4, $620 (before installation). Pretty psyched.

That's great. For others, there are many Wrangler tires, the Fortitude HT are the ones that are lasting for a long time. Even though the fine print says 65,000 is not for LT sizes, the reviews and my experience with them is they do last for many miles.

I'll be on the look out for a deal because I might have to change them out before winter. I'll be well over 65,000 miles by then. I'm still pleased & surprised that Ford put on OEM tires that last this long.

I've had goodyear tires in the the past but none have lasted this long.

getting ready to replace the stock wrangler tires on my 2017. 62,000 miles and honestly could have probably gotten a lot more out of them if the pressure had been more diligently monitored. Plenty of tread left in the center but the shoulders are pretty bad.
