How much do you think it will be worth

I am planning on buying a Ford ESP and trying to figure out where to extend to based on how much my expedition will be worth. Original MSRP was around $77k. Obviously this is a complete random guess but thoughts on value at 5 yr 100k miles or 6 yr 125k miles.

Looking at the previous body style 2015/2016 with same mileage I am seeing mid 20s, but came in with a much lower sticker price new.

$55k?!?!?! you mean at 5yr 100k miles old.. holy smokes that would be amazing lol.

Again, I realize nobody has a crystal ball... just speculation.

I'm not sure I follow as to your need to know the value when you sell... the goal of the warranty is to keep you financially stable throughout ownership. You're better off figuring out how long you'll keep it and how far you'll drive, because the prices really jump past I believe 6yr/100k.

I am more or less trying to figure out the kind of hit between 99,999 miles and 125k miles. I know some people are hesitant to cross that 100k mile threshold (for whatever reason, perhaps something about seeing 6 digits). Is keeping the vehicle an extra year/20k miles going to drop $8k in value? This is the first full size SUV I've owned so no idea how well they hold their value beyond that 6 figure mark.

I agree with you though, getting up around the 7yr/150k mile mark basically doubles the price of the ESP!

Are you trying to determine if the difference in the future market value of the vehicle at 6 years vs 5 years is greater than the price difference between the 100K miles and 125K miles ESP plans?
BTW, I am not sure that current used car prices reflect the pre-pandemic market, and presumably, the future market.

That's true, the market is kind of crazy right now. I bought pre-covid and got $8500 off of sticker for just walking in the door, I can't say dealers would still do that right now so any truck would most likely pull more now than 3-4yrs from now.

Perhaps a better way of posing the question would be will this thing still be worth $30k at 5-6yrs old with 100k-125k miles? I think the answer is yes but I have no idea lol

I would just contact flood ford and see what the cost is and pick one. Value of truck is going to be more with repairs current than trying to sell one with a bunch of broken shit.

Also Check Ziegler Ford. They're competitive and offer a discount for paying in full. Have a Ford ESP from Flood and a Lincoln ESP from Ziegler
