hey guys, quick question. how to debadge a 2000 eddie bauer?

based off of my research, goo-gone, blow dryer, and some thread...

but i'm not even completely sure it's held on by adhesive and not bolted on?

anyone with the same vehicle know? or if all expy's are the same? not so sure...

fender emblems leave holes in the fender so unless you can do body work you will have holes... I believe the rear hatch is the same but I'm not 100%

few more questions for you walnuts, what brand are your headlights and tail lights, nerf bar, and where did you get the deflector for the rear window?

yes, rear liftgate badge will leave holes as well. for the nerf bars and deflector, you can find that stuff on ebay, or just google and pick a website. his looks like a westin nerf bar. as for lights, they are R8 lights, you can find his thread in the show and tell forum under lights i think.

lol, i know where to find them. i usually shop from JCwhitney so i was wondering what kind it was. i will search for westin. from what i know they're pretty reliable, my friend has a bull bar from them.

and thanks, the lights look awesome! R8 is that for the head lights and tail lights? i can't find one of those rear deflectors anywhere though lol

I would just get a grille. That is what I am planning on doing, not a fan of the stock 97-02 grille.

btw...these are the lights I am looking at getting. Think if they are white they are legal which is why I am going with these:

yeah i'm definitley going to get a grille. by the way, the one you chose as well as the lights look awesome! i might just get the same ones, lol.

lol no problem man you're good. yeah i'd like to know about the deflector and the tail lights, they both look awesome, especially with the color of the car. mine is the burgandy/mahogony color. doesn't really look good unless it's waxed.

i dont like the 97-98 grill. it dents in right in the middle. rubbs against my lights. when i start putting money in my truck im going to get a new grill. and put the lights on the bumper im going to make. i would much rather have the 99-02 grill. a nicer grill. or get a billet.

here is a style of deflector that you might like:

Lund Rear Window Deflectors from andysautosport.com.
you can also try GTO or EGR

what's your opinion on the visors for the top of the windshield? oh and do you think i could fit 37's on an 18 inch rim with a 3 inch lift?

if its just a 3" lift, no. you would have to do LOTS of trimming to make them fit. biggest you could probably fit with a 3" would be 35's and you would still get a little bit of rubbing. how wide is the rim? i have 18x9 with 35's and i dont rub, but i have 4" lift. as for visors over windshield, sometimes they look good. sometimes they dont. a member (dgray) has one on his truck...take a look in the show and tell threads and you will see it in the lets see your rides section, and in his sig.

the rim would either be 18x9 or 18x8, the 18x9 i was looking at was only 15 bucks more expensive so why not go with that, how about a 4 inch lift, 37's, 18x9" rim, and wheel spacers?

even with 4", you are still going to have to do a lot of trimming. there is a guy on virtualford.org named thermo. talk to him. he has our generation expy and he has the 4" lift with 37's. and he will tell you, lots of trimming involved. if you want 37's, plan on at least 4" + 3". that is what im going with. that is pretty much the minimum you are going to need.
