I have to say I'm a Ford guy and come from a Ford family. Our 2019 4WD EXP has really tested my dedication. We bought it with 12K miles in 2021, and it's been a steady stream of headaches. It now has 120K miles.
-3 Wheel hubs and speed sensors
-AC Compressor
-Busted heater hose on the side of the interstate
-Replaced SYNC module
-Noisy, obnoxious sunroof
-About to change the thermostat because the fan blows at warp speed
-The LED headlight strip just went out
-Of Course, the cam phasers are rattling
-The transmission shifts erratically at times
I'm a guy that like to fix things myself, but I recognized the complexity and expense of the some of the possible failures. I ended up getting a base ESP to at least cover the engine and transmission for another 36K.
