Hi folks, new owner here. 2002 XLT 5.4 2WD. I found one in pretty great condition except for a couple issues. There was rust at the forward end of a couple of the channels on the roof. Rusted through :-( I am working on fixing that now. Also the info window at the front of the overhead console is not working. I am thinking maybe water got in through the rust hole and maybe corroded the connectors? The Ford service guy told me those things go out frequently and they are expensive. Anyway I bought this vehicle to tow my Jeep Cherokee and haul my 4 kids and wife around. I does not seem to have a tow package although there is a trailer wiring plug on the back. What extra parts come with the towing package? I am planning a 3: spindle lift in front and 4WD springs in the rear for a bit more lift. Also a 1" sway bar for the rear and some bilsteins for more stability. Does that sound like a good plan?
