So of you know I love my truck and I’ve maintained her w an open check book. I’ve been thinking about a pickup and have decided on a Dodge Ram w a Hemi.

I’ve spent time on the F-150 forums and it’s sad to see all the guys that have plopped down big money to have all kinds of failures. This w all the power plants. 2.7,3.5, 5.0 and the 10-sp tranny.

My brother has a 2017 and it sounds like a diesel.

Our 1st gens are Fords last hurrah. Soon as they went VCT and overhead cams on big V8s they screwed up.

I’m going to go w the ole pushrod Hemi.

Ford is going to feel a great big sucking sound when all these pissed off owners replace their lemons w other brands.

Damn shame Ford. Typical company stupidity after a long period of success. This will catch up to them.

Can't blame you for jumping ship. Hopefully your Dodge will hold up. All the vehicles past 2005, seem to have their share of problems, doesn't matter the brand. And old friend went with a 2014 Dodge diesel about a year and a half back. He's made 3 trips from California to Alabama with a big ass trailer in tow. So far it's been bullet proof. That's a lot of weight pulling back and forth 3,000 miles each way. Hope the gas motors just as good. Stick around the forum here if you can, your participation has been great.
