Ahhh yeah something about new tires that gets me too excited lol I was all for the KO2s but they didn’t have the 295. I really like the Wildpeaks now though. Although I’m gunna try to have them rebalanced for a 3rd time…View attachment 72026
Talk about “going for it”
Tire and wheel package from National Tire and Wheel. Third package I’ve ordered from them and they have been great to deal with.
Wheels are Fuel Blitz 18x9 +20
Tires are Falken Wildpeak 295 70 18
Readylift kit arrives tomorrow and dealer will install Wednesday.
Then I will bolt these up and see what trimming / adjusting it needs.
Hopefully no issues and last piece will be order a tuner. Not sure if off the shelf or 5Star.
Going on a 2019 Stealth short Expy.
I will share experience / details after it’s finished.
Amazing the different look when comparing the factory 22’s to the 18’s. While I personally like the look of the 22’s, these will be more suited to our familiar style (more rubber, slight stance).
I agree that the 5 star tune is nice but I haven’t had perfect experience with mine. I bought my 2020 xlt with 7k on it. In the 3k I dove it without the tune it missed a gear once. After about 1500 miles with the five star tune in has fallen out of gear five times on the road now. Makes a big deal outta it too. Throws codes and goes into limp mode. Five star has redone one of the tunes to fix it. I’m currently running stock again to see if it falls out again. But besides that I enjoyed the 92 daily/tow tune. 92 performance wasn’t very smooth. Would drop four gears and send it when you really only wanted a slight downshift. Both tunes definitely take out the sluggish that the bigger tires add and make it peppy again.
