New to the forum but have lurked awhile. 17x8.5 +25 methods, 35x11.50 nitto ridge grappler, RC upper arms, f150 5100s on second from the bottom, EXP 5100 rears second up from the bottom with Traxda 2” rear spacers. Aligned just fine. Drives/rides great with no rubbing other than a little bit at full lock.

Very nice! I'm debating yet on the Bilsteins. I'd like to drive one that has them set up like yours before I took the plunge.
I had the 5100 Bilsteins front and rear on this '13 F150 I had. Very pleased with them and when I need shocks on my Expedition I'll probably go with them on it. Had the fronts set at 1-1/2 inches and rears weren't adjustable but I did gain about 1/4 inch anyway. Had 275x60x20 Toyo AT's in this picture from 10 yrs ago.

Just upgraded the stock 32" wheels (2018 Platinum) to 34" wheels. Speedo reads about 5mph lower at 70mph. Has anyone had any luck using ForScan to adjust the speedometer readout? I tried changing the tire circumference from the stock 2478mm to 2735mm, but the car keeps throwing DTC codes and stating that the tire circumference is out of range. In fact, even a single mm above the stock 2478mm will cause this. BCM and TCM relearn and DTC clear doesn't help. Keep getting the same "out of range" error.

From what I read on ForScan forums, the min-max range is hardcoded.

Is there another way to recalibrate the speedometer? i.e. changing values for differential, etc.

2024 XLT 4x4 in wild green. Installed the Bilstein 5100, expedition version on the front and rear. Front set at 1.6 and rear at 1.1. 275/60/20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T on OEM 20” rims.
That looks amazing! How much lift do you get from the Bilstein 5100’s? Is it a better option than Readylift 3/2 in terms of suspension/ ride performance? I understand the RL 3/2 may stress the upper control arm range of motion, etc…….trying to figure out what the best way to get a minor lift/level for some 33” or 34” tires on my OEM 20” wheels.

Tire size doesn't care about wheel size for the most part. Some vehicles like mine came stock with 285/45 R22 which are 32.1" tires. Popping up to 33" inch tires doesn't require anything at all. Lifts will level it out and make it look better or allow even bigger tires, but you don't need to figure anything out for 33's as many members have put them on with no issues.

I’m not sure what the measurements were at stock height but after the bilstein struts from floor to top center of wheel well at the front is 38” and rear is 38-3/8”. I was stuck between the ready lift and bilsteins, it seemed more people on this forum were unhappy with the ready lift and the rep at a local shop said they’ve had very good reviews with the bilsteins. Overall I’m very happy, they aren’t as floaty as the stock struts. I can turn full lock with 275/60/20 tires with no rubbing.

After 35k miles I couldn't take the noise and harsh ride anymore so I took off the Toyo MTs. Replaced with the new Cooper Discoverer Road & Trail AT and went back to a SL 275/60R20. Drive and ride is so much better and I can actually hear myself think now.

Oooh, looking forward to a full review of these. I'm running the ATP II's and like the look of those. Need to do some research, I wonder if they are more road worthy hence the name, even though they look a little more aggressive than the ATP II.

How is the ride? Do you ever have need to tow anything off-road - wondering how my off-road trailer will perform with the Bilsteins

The ride I personally like better than stock. It’s firm but doesn’t feel like it’s floating around but still soaks up large bumps. I don’t tow anything off-road. It does ride fine off road. We don’t go out an do beat on it but cruise around logging roads. I wouldn’t hesitate to tow off-road with it.

Tire questions for all of those with larger wheels/tires.. I am lifting the truck tomorrow and then having Discount Tire install either 305/55/22 Recon Grapplers in SL rating (if I can get them to fit) or a set of Toyo OC AT3's in 295/55/22 in typical LT rating. Of the two, which would you choose and why? This is the wifes vehicle and is used mostly taking the kids to school, highway and beach driving. Thanks all!

Guessing you're all stock currently? You probably saw my previous post, but my wife was ready to trade our Expy after 35k miles of dealing with the rough ride of E/LTs, and living down a half mile of muddy dirt road we had more justification for such tires than most mall crawlers. I've driven trucks with AT tires all my life so I knew a bit what we were getting, and we loved the look of the Toyo MTs, and they weren't that bad when new as far as noise and ride, but after we swapped them out it was like damn, we've been missing this nice ride for the last 3 years? I'm sure it'd be a good deal worse on R22s vs our R20s. Also, don't discount the power/mpg loss of spinning 15-20lbs heavier tires.

My advice is moderate your inner truck bro, and look for the largest but lightest SL tire you can find, but with R22s you're probably very limited. Dropping a few grand to turn your SUV into a dump truck ride likely isn't going to win any favors with your wife after the initial this looks bad ass effect has worn off and maybe 10k miles. Just my .02

How’s it drive compared to factory?

I came from a ‘23 4Runner so it was already a class below the expedition for comfort and road driving experience. I had it on 33x11.5x17 Open Country MT, so it was definitely a lot slower and louder than factory, which did not bother me unless we were going on more than an hour drive. When we had our third child in August of last year, I decided to get rid of the forerunner and got an expedition. I took over my wife’s ‘22 grand cherokee and she drives the expedition as her main vehicle. It is currently on the factory 20 inch wheels with Michelin tires I am having some concern about making it extremely loud going to an AT tire. What is your experience been like because the KO3 is one of the tires on the top of my list in a 315.70.17. I’ve been trying to find the largest C load tire that I can below a 34.5.

Is that light bar a kit? How are you mounting that?
Not a kit. This is a Baja Designs S8 30” bar, fits behind the grill perfectly. The shop I used simply fabricated some brackets; nothing fancy, but they function well.
