Only had it for about 2 weeks, first trip, made her do some work! In the process of moving to a different state 3 1/2 hours away. If I had to guess the trailer was probably 5000 - 6000 lbs. I'd still rather tow it with my Excursion, but that is getting repainted, but I was very impressed. Not sure I like the Tow/Haul option, I don't want to have to press the throttle when going down a slight hill.

When going downhill, in Tow/Haul mode, the tranny should downshift if you tap the brake pedal. Nice rig & trailer!

The 5.4L is an enjoyable motor to tow with, nice setup and good luck with the move.

Yeah, I don't think I touched the brake and it down shifted and slowed me down, it happened multiple times. I had to press the accelerator to maintain my speed. I just wanted to coast in a few spots. I didn't want it to downshift. I just took it out of tow haul at those times. Not sure if that is good or bad, just slightly annoying... I hate how these newer cars want to drive for you... Anyway, thank you!!! We do love the truck and was impressed how it towed...
