For a production assembly line to work:Can someone shed light on how they determine whose vehicle should be built first?
Sequential number has to do with internal VIN assignment to an order, but does not guarantee that they are built in the actual sequential order. Again, if there are parts needed to finish a specific build that are on back order, that VIN will be placed in a holding "QUE" until such time as all necessary components are in house and the vehicle is able to be built and rolled off the assembly line as a finished product. This is nothing new, and has been going on for over 60 years.Question for anyone who can answer it: You guys talk about factors affecting when a vehicle gets scheduled for build. Wouldn’t the sequential number on the vin indicate the order a vehicle is being built. So a vehicle with final vin numbers 15000, will not be built until 14995, 14996, 14997, 14998 & 14999, are built?
Or will Ford jump sequence according to parts availability?
Second question: Has anyone actually seen or know of any 22’s being delivered?
Thanks for any info
Well, I don’t believe that to be true. I ordered a platinum max and the only thing it didn’t have was the RES because it wasn’t available. And it keeps getting pushed back.@jferg425 they base it off of how much you spent on it. The more money you pay, the closer to the top of the list you go
