Thought I'd post some pics since I was taking them. I'm 33 and my partner is 38. The entire install was fabricated, installed, and will be finished by us two old farts while weekend warrioring a system install. Local shops wanted over 3k do it. I didnt it with 200.00 bucks paid to the neighborhood teens, and us two old farts on a few 12 packs and about 500.00 in material. Will add more when finalized.

Made changes, making sure the components fit. Under the hidden compartments are power invertor, 4in to 6out A/V controller, 2nd TV tuner, Playstation 2, 2nd Multimedia Player (dvd/svcd/vcd/mp3), and one hell of alot of power and remote turn on feeds, + fans.

basic main compartment components installed

Still need to get correct plexi, install neon, cooling fans, and hidden compartment components, but you get the idea of where this install is going. Basically at 2-3 days of weekend warrior labor here.

Added AudioControl Bass Epicenter and EQX Eq and Crossover to the mix as well.

SUBs and Eclosures, starting vinyl

I DONT claim to be a even decent upolstery guy, but Im trying.

Each RF 3112 2ohm DVC is wired to 1ohm, each cub is EXACTLY 1.160cf sealed (= 1.0cf with sub displacement), the center wedge is .96cf with 3 lbs of poly fiber fill.

Each piece is seperate, but will bolt down and to each other on top of the amp rack once installed.

partners daughter

My friends daughter sitting in it while she can. We had all the neighborhood kids "helping", might as well teach them so that their first car stereo doesnt use aluminum foil for burnt fuses and the speaker (-) terminals grounded to the body. ;)

fruits of our labor

3rd layer down, everything cleanly tucked, hidden and protected.
One SH*T load of wire bundles popping up at places, but I was real happy with the 2 weekends worth of labor at this point.

I hope all the wire solder and crimps were good. :D

cable bundles

Each amp cable plant has (+/-) 4 gauge + patch cables, etc. I brought them up through 2 inch holes that are covered and hidden when the amp end caps are installed.

hidden compartment

All the non amp accessories are fed +12v from the amp rack upper corners, this is where I am hidding all the wire that basically just cant be kept too nice, there's just too much. Im trying with the looms and all that.

XO TV Tuner (2nd)

400watt invertor for PS/2 and DirecTV reciever)
(no I'm not mounting a "moving dish", but I have a 14" that is in a box that you open, look at onboard compass and point, its for non moving DirecTV enjoyment)

4in-6out PowerAcoustik A/V controller (wireless)
(so 8 v/l/r patch cables into this area (bulky))
