I use a Mac and it took me a few tries to get this to work for me. I had to download using Chrome and I had to use Unarchiver to perform the decompression. With that combination, it worked for me.
When I used Safari it never worked for me when plugging in the USB stick (even when using Unarchiver or allowing Safari to automatically take care of decompression).
