I have noticed the last couple of days that the digital odometer intermittently goes blank and then it comes back on. It is calculating miles when out but it does bother me. Is this common or happened to others? And if so, what was the issue? A loose plug, if it utilizes a plug, or a short circuit or what, is the whole cluster circuit board incorporated where it is not fixable unless the cluster is replaced?

I do know that the cluster can be exchanged, and the mileage will be the same as the odometer reading is saved in the ECU and so if exchanged it will pick up the original mileage from the ECU.

Any help would be appreciated. I will keep searching for a solution.

Not a prob! Expy is looking good keep up the hard work!

Thanks Bud, lots more to do. Next on the agenda is a Summit Racing windshield sport visor.

Then a brush guard

Then a set of headers

Then new Y-Pipe

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-93125/

Then a new speed recalibrator for now until new gears go in and then recalibrate again

And more to come after that. But that should keep me busy for awhile.

Not a fan of the visor!

And while your doing the Y pipe you should get the drivers side pipe as well so both banks flow the same and get a little more performance.

The y-pipe is still up in the air on purchase as the exhaust shop I get my work done has made y's and the sort on many other vehicles in the past for me. So I am going next week to see how much for them to make it for me with 2 downward hi-flow cats. Then I will make the decision on how I am going with it. But yes, I will be doing both sides either way I go.

Being the sunshine state, I usually end up getting a visor as it is a big help on the highway driving and the such. They do serve a purpose other than cosmetics.

I thought with giving more than $20.00 for supporting the site that we were to receive EF stickers to put on the Expy? Where are they?

About to do a complete tuneup before I head up to my Fathers house this X-Mas weekend.

Question for you all, anyone using the E3 plugs in the 4.6? And if so any real difference for performance and economy as they are advertised? Or should I stick with the stock plugs?

Well on Saturday I went and got some AutoLite plugs and installed them. I decided against the E3's as I did not get any feedback on here on them. The old plugs seemed to be the original plugs. The new plugs worked out great on the road trip to my parents house yesterday. I achieved an increase in fuel mileage so that was a plus. Also took off the passenger 2 door panels in hopes to locating the door lock knobs, found both in the bottom of the inner door. Those are the easiest door panels to take off. Truck did great round trip to my parents.

Did you have any issues getting the old plugs out or the new ones in?
