New Expy owner from Ky

Hey all, new to the forum. Picked up a 97 Expedition XLT 4x4 w/ a 5.4/E40D and open 3.73's for $800 and even drove it home! It's slowly going to become my designated trail rig. Over the next couple months I'm going to be yanking off the front/rear bumpers and running boards and fabbing up some beefier bumpers and rock sliders along with skid plates. Nearly every search I've Googled has lead me back to this site so it was only logical to join!

Thanks to everyone for the welcoming! I'm going to be doing some sketches tonight and hope to get started on the bumper mock ups this week end using 3/16th plexiglass since I have a crap ton of it laying around and it's easy to bend/cut/mold to fairly easy transferable dimensions since I'll also be using 3/16ths on the bumpers minus mounting brackets and D-ring/tow points which is getting 1/4". I'll go on ahead and do a full write up with plenty of pictures along the way and keep everyone updated on the process.
