I would like to say hey to the forum and introduce me and my project truck.
My uncle gave me his 97 EB Expedition 4WD with 225k miles on it. The engine needed some work to get it started but after replacing all cop's , intake manifold gasket and valve cover gaskets. It now runs like new.
My uncle is meticulous about routine maintenance, so despite the mileage, the truck runs really well.
I want to use the truck to haul me and my family on hunting and fishing trips, so I am going through everything and making sure its dependable and looks nice. I really enjoy working on cars/trucks, so its a relaxing hobby for me. ( except for that darn pitman arm/steering gear replacement lol)
I went through the front suspension and replaced all the consumable parts and the steering gear.
Today, I am finishing up the new seat covers.
