Hello all. I am in the process of purchasing an Expedition tomorrow. It has 159k and felt rock solid driving. My concern is rust on the body of the vehicle. I am picking this up for $2500. I reside in Cleveland so salt is abundant in the winter. Again overall everything felt great but the by the driver door and above the rear passenger wheel area are holding me back a little. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I definitely will. It is the 2001 XLT model. I believe it has the 5.4 in it due to the additional items similar to the Eddie Bauer edition. Interior did not bother me. Very comfortable ride. I will try to upload photos of the rust as well but I could be overthinking it but I am kind of excited about it too. Thank you for the quick reply JUST4FUN!

Rusty bucket that will only get worse. Check condition and prices in the southern states as a comparison. Down here in Ga. you would be lucky to get $700 in that condition. But like the saying goes "location is everything".

The headliner is going to come down in order to fix the sunroof. More labor than parts.

Thanks stamp11127. Yeah it's definitely the area getting me on the price. I'm looking at the big picture while trying now to get screwed.

I'll scout more before I pull the trigger. Primarily the ones I'm coming across have an exhaust leak, engine problems, and a plethora of issues that render the truck useless to me. It's frustrating but I'm on a slight time frame.
