I have a 2003 Eddie Bauer 4x4. While driving recently I have noticed a new sound coming from what I think is the front end. The sound is similar to a low pitch whine or hum. It sounds kind of like when you have off-road tires going down the road at highway speed. I do not know if it is the front diff, front axles, front hubs. Any help would be nice. Thanks guys.

I have seen worn tires start making noise. try rotating them and see if the noise stops or moves to the back.

they were rotated at last oil change. it is not the tires, they are not worn. it was one thing i checked. sounds like a possible front hub, diff, axle issue?
