New guy here with my first 2011 Limited EL Expedition. The drivers side running rear hinge bracket is broken and the pieces online are crazy. Does anyone have one for sale?

Cant you get a local welder to weld it? My hinge broke (the main aluminium bracket that bolts to the body broke from hitting a large rock when off-roading). I unbolted the entire assembly (8 bolts & 1 electrical plug) and took it to a local welder, he ground the broken edges to a bevel and then TIG fill welded it back together. Did a fantastic job, took about an hour and cost $80.. Assuming yours is a similar break it might be worth asking around.
