MW - is that table the total allowable weights for towing, or maybe recommended balance? Is the Expy really a 6200lb truck empty?
I've also been to the scale to check my trailer weight. The Expy really is that heavy and balanced empty. Mine weighed in at 6,300lb. 3,140lb front and 3,160lb rear. With my 7,500lb trailer hooked up and weight distribution set, the front axle was 3,160lb and the rear axle was 3,800lb.

I read this before buying our 2019 Expo Limited. We test drove one and I thought something was wrong with the truck. It was swaying in the back with every little steering correction. We passed on one because of it and then after driving another, it had the same thing. Guess the first mod I will do is the sway bar.

I love my Hellwig swaybars. If anyone wants to try Urethane bushings on the OEM bars, I noticed there's a Seller on eBay "durable.parts" that lists them for our truck.

Keep in mind, if these fit, there will be a noticeable improvement but not as much as the larger Hellwig bars and bushings.

I installed Hellwigs on the front and rear of my CCD Equipped Max. It made a noticeable improvement. I'd do it again.

Does anyone have the expected lead time to receive the Helwig rear sway after order? I ordered one through suspension connection early this year and after having to reach out to them monthly as they never contacted me they continued to tell me an eta of 4-6 weeks every time I called. After 4 months I cancelled for a refund. They got pretty hard to contact due to covid and I wanted to make sure I got my money back in case the company folded altogether. I'm hoping manufacture and delivery times have improved.

I have a brand new front and rear bar in the boxes from my wifes Navigator. We sold it before we ever installed the bars. I'll ship them both to you for less than new AND I'll ship them soon! :). Hit me up!

Just order both Hellwig bars from Summit Racing for my ‘21 Expy XLT. Front bar is currently in stock (they have 10) but the rear bar is back ordered until 11/1/21. Eager to install these much needed upgrades.

I have 2021 KR 4x4 and drive it fairly aggressively and have not had the urge for add on's yet. Wondering what air pressure those with problems have it the tires.

I will say that that the ride feels a bit more acceptable in my '20 Stealth after going to a proper truck tire. I've also ordered the rear sway bar and sumo coil helpers however.

I put the Hellwig rear sway bar on my '20 XLT MAX FX4 just before Christmas. Huge improvement on pavement. I haven't taken it off road yet. I'm anticipating a slight; but, hopefully acceptable, degradation in articulation there. I'll drive it a while this way and decide if I want to upgrade the front as well. My wife didn't like driving the truck before because of the citreon 2CV feeling in curves. Now she loves it. Happy wife, happy life, new bar was worth every penny.

If you think the rear bar helped its handling, the front bar helped 3X as much in the handling and cornering. The rear bar stopped the rear sway that almost made you puke. The front makes it corner like a go-cart in comparison. Well worth it! :)

Deadman, I re-tightened the front Helwig but then ended up taking it my off because I was getting a clunk. Factory front sway is silent so it tells me the bushings are shot. I am working with Helwig. Have you experienced this?

2-3 folks on the FB groups also complain of the same issue.

I don't put a lot of miles on mine, so Its probably not real fair. I don't drive it much if at all in the road salt! lol
Its always been silent, except maybe a tiny squeak if you had the windows down at slow speed.

I haven’t complained yet, but I am getting the same clunk. I think part of it could be the oversized holes in the bracket for the bushings. They are way to big for the stud size. E98FE135-BE23-4A4C-A574-F502DC698FE1.jpeg2F429B4E-3164-40A0-B765-A050136AF83B.jpeg

I have both of my sway bars for sale, new in the box. With new Moog end links for front and rear. I traded in my Expedition.
