Removing scratches done by household sponge

There is an imbecile that wanted to clean my car (and he did 2 others) which he used a scratch free household sponge. I had bugs and bunch of stuff which he scratched the hell out of my clear coat.

Please someone, tell me this can be removed with rubbing compound or high speed buffer.

Should be able to. Do you have experience using either? Could you post some pictures of the damage?

If you can, take both "overall" pictures, as well as close ups (may have to use a macro). What color is your paint?
