Like for sleeping on the roof?

It's pretty soft up there. Too soft imho, you can make it flex with your thumb

I’m thinking aboot one also, eh. Sorry couldn’t resist, got a friend in Montreal. But I’m seriously thinking about one for future trips and not pulling my toy hauler everywhere. Mine is first gen, but here are some pictures of ones from last years SEMA show, built straight from Ford.

The middle of the roof is flimsy, but where rack are, are pretty solid.

Yeah, This has been done. And there's some pretty bad azz lookin rigs out there for some inspiration. I'd definitely look at beefing up the factory side bars for the roof rack, but the roof mounting points are certainly beefy enough to handle a tent.

Good luck. Post pics if you end up doing it.

I'm looking at a beefier rack setup and then looking at a few 200lbs or lighter. Or a r-pod
