I'd like to mount some lights at the 4 corners of my roof rack. I was hoping to mount them to the rack (or track) without having to drill a hole in the rack. Are there any light mounting options to do this? I bought a light to play around with. It has a two part bracket. The bottom part has a single carriage bolt, like you would use to mount on the push bar. I tried using the screw knob that adjusts the rack to mount it right through the carriage bolt hole, but this doesn't allow the light to point correctly. It points about 20degrees up from horizontal. It would have been a cool idea, but just doesn't fit that way.

Has anyone here mounted lights to the rack?

Got any ideas?

If I am going to run six 55watt halogen lights, am I going to have any voltage/charging system issues? Being a Police model, I am hoping that it has a higher output alternator. It used to run a light bar and all that, so I assume 6 little halogens won't be an issue.
